Traverses
A collaboration between Villa Vassilieff, Bétonsalon – Center for Art and Research and Cité internationale des arts
Traverses (Byways) is a residency program collectively organized by Villa Vassilieff, Bétonsalon – Center for Art and Research and Cité internationale des arts. Every year, it enables artists and foreign curators to come to Paris and to accompany them in their researches. The program stresses on encounters and cross-disciplines, facilitates the consultation of rare or not easily accessible ressources, thus encouraging "byways" between art professionals, objects of knowledge and diverse publics.
Traverses gives the guest artists and curators the possibility to share their current researches thanks to programming (exhibitions, seminars, workshops, conferences) between Villa Vassilieff, Bétonsalon – Centre d’art et de recherche and Cité internationale des arts.
