with the support of ADAGP‑Villa Vassilieff grant, in partnership with Bibliothèque Kandinsky, MNAM‑CCI, Centre Pompidou.

Villa Vassilieff will exhibit the Le Goubernement series by artist Liv Schulman produced with the support of ADAGP - Villa Vassilieff grant. This six-episodes fiction welcomes the stories and fate of women, lesbian, queer, trans and non-binary artists who lived in Paris between 1900 and 1980 and who have been erased from the great modernist narrative of the 20th century. Through a fictional historical revision, Le Goubernement undermines the official narratives of triumphalist histories and proposes a new history of feminist art that allows for all liberties, to the point of absurdity.
