Proposed by the artist Jumana Emil Abboud, this workshop invites participants to recall a folktale from childhood, or alternatively, to share a bizarre but true story from their own life over thematic meals, walks and encounters. This Circle of Stories wishes to question the way in which folk tales are integrated into our lives, transmitted and transformed.
The workshop will be guided by Jumana E. Abboud and photographer Issa Freij in collaboration with Villa Vassilieff. A first meeting will happen in February, followed by additional encounters in the coming months.
No storytelling experience & no arts background are necessary.
Stories can be shared in French, English and Arabic. All ages and nationalities welcome!
